A release is the EBA package of templates and rules. A variant is an alternative set of templates inside a release (IFRS 18 replaces some IAS 1 templates). Annex V editions are versions of the instruction text.

Article 90 Alternative to 1 250 % risk weight

As an alternative to applying a 1 250 % risk weight to the amounts in excess of the limits specified in Article 89(1) and (2), institutions may deduct those amounts from Common Equity Tier 1 items in accordance with point (k) of Article 36(1).
